High & Low Blood Pressure Treatment

High blood pressure treatment is given to those that suffer from hypertension, or a high pressure of blood output from the arteries. The arteries carry blood from the heart to all tissues and organs in the body. Low blood pressure treatment is given to individuals when the heart is not pumping enough blood from the heart into the arteries which causes a lack of oxygen and nutrients flowing to vital organs such as the brain, kidney, and back to the heart. When these organs do not receive the oxygen and nutrients they need, they cease to function normally and cause tremendous health endangerment.

Methods of treatment should be used when the pressure exceeds 140/90; normal pressure is measured at 120/80. The risks associated with the lack of high blood pressure treatment include: heart disease, kidney disease, hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis), eye damage, and stroke which can cause severe brain damage. Those that typically require high or low blood pressure treatment are over 50 years in age and have a family health history of incorrect measurements. Research has shown that it may be somewhat genetic, or at the very least, people may have a predisposition for it if it follows in their family line.

Over 25% of the population requires some type of treatment for these conditions. Low blood pressure treatment is often the result of incorrect dosages prescribed during a treatment for high numbers. Common medications used to lower this number can result in dehydration, or other side effects. The option will include discovering what the cause is, and stopping it. There are a variety of medications that can cause a person to need medical care. These include: medication used for surgery, anti-depressants, diuretics, and narcotics. Many of these medications are issued as treatment methods for high blood pressure.

First and foremost, to see the benefits of medical care, the individual needs to undergo a lifestyle change. That means a healthy diet free from sodium and alcohol, maintaining a health weight, moderate activity levels, and no smoking. Common medications include: diuretics, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, and Alpha blockers. The best high blood pressure treatment is prayer and living a Christ like life. "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16) While other medications and options may provide care, peace and love in Jesus Christ will provide the best results.
