Fast Removal Of Acne Scars

Fast acne treatment is a misnomer, because acne does not clear up fast at all, but takes six to eight weeks, in most cases, to see initial results, and much longer to see significant improvement, depending on the individual reaction to treatment. One persons success may be another persons failure. No two people react to a treatment in exactly the same way. A dermatologist may be required to clear the problem up. He can prescribe medications that will result in a fast acne treatment (as compared to nonprescription medications). First, the dermatologist will consider such factors as the severity of the problem, the types of lesions present, the patients age, skin type, and motivation. This information allows the dermatologist to create an effective plan that will treat the problem over time to and prevent new lesions from forming. This type of skin disorder responds well to early intervention, so waiting long to seek help is not recommended.

Dermatologic surgery is recommended for the so-called fast removal of acne scars. They will fade over time, if you can be patient and the scarring isn't causing psychological problems for you. Of course, the objective opinion of the dermatologist will ultimately decide whether any of the treatments will be best for you. There are several options when considering fast removal of acne scars. One option is collagen injection. Collagen is a normal substance of the body, and is injected under the skin to fill our or stretch certain types of scars, resulting in a comparatively fast removal of acne scars. The cosmetic benefit from collagen is three to six months. It can be repeated, but each time requires another payment.

Another method is taking fat from some other part of the patients body and the fat is injected under the skin to fill out depressed scars. This usually implemented to correct the deeper scars. Because the fat is usually absorbed, this treatment lasts from six to eighteen months, and has to be done again. Longer lasting results are eventually achieved. There are other treatments for fast removal of acne scars, such microdermabrasion, laser treatment, skin surgery, and skin grafting.

This skin disease affects most teenagers to some extent, but can occur in adults as well. Quick removal is desired by anyone who has this unpleasant disease, because the disorder can be very disfiguring at worst, and embarrassing at best. Acne is the term for plugged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), pimples, and even deeper lumps affecting mostly the face, but can happen on the neck, chest, back, shoulders, and even upper arms. Sometimes victims think they can help by squeezing them, but unless this is done under sterile conditions, other infections could occur and complicate matters.

There are over-the-counter treatments, but none of them are as quick as people want them to be. Some people get very good results from these treatments if they are patient, but more than 40% of adolescents have it severe enough to need treatment by a physician. Acne generally begins between the ages of ten and thirteen, and lasts for five to ten years. Both young men and young women are afflicted by acne, but women are more likely to have intermittent cases due to the hormonal changes connected with their menstrual cycles, and from makeup. Women are more likely than men to consult a physician for fast acne treatment.

While some procedures can lessen the symptoms somewhat, and help a person get through the experience, there is no fast cure at this point in time. Over-the-counter medications may help, but if they don't it may be necessary to consult a physician. Taking good care of ones skin by keeping it clean will help keep the disorder from taking over. There have been claims that certain foods cause this type of skin disorder, but science has yet to prove a connection there. Diet apparently is not one of the factors. Whatever the cause, it does terrible things to its victims self esteem so they seek fast acne treatment of some sort, whether non-prescription or prescription in nature. Persistence and patience are the key words when thinking about acne.

There are Internet sites that advertise creams and gels that reduce scars. Most are botanical formulas that claim to reduce the redness and improve the appearance by peeling off (exfoliating) the top layer of skin. These can only be used on fully healed skin. So, fast acne treatment can occur if begun at the first notice of a lesion, but there is no fast cure. Fast removal of acne scars is possible with the help of a dermatologist. The good news is, it eventually does go away--permanently!

God gave each person a body to take care of while living here on earth. It is important to honor His intentions by taking excellent care of those bodies. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Paul writes "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." Good skin care techniques is the key to managing such skin disorders and possibly preventing any more instances or even eliminating the whole adventure. Education is important when learning how to take care of one's body. Equally important is to understand family history and food allergies that may be mistaken for something else. Knowing the options and family history of similar disorders is most important in the success of overcoming temporary facial abnormalities.
